Here's one case where a tribute band might surpass the original on stage. With all due respect to crooner Neil Diamond, it's tough to imagine him kicking out the jams the way San Francisco-based Super Diamond does live. The band injects Diamond's pop songs with a healthy dose of rock energy while preserving the ... well, Neil Diamondness. Check them out this weekend.
