In addition, numerous awards will be given to sixth- and eighth-grade students. The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19 in the Larkin High School Auditorium, 1475 Larkin Ave., Elgin.Library art exhibit: "Child's Play," an art exhibit by Lisa Marie Riedl, is on display through May 26 at the Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin. The show consists of works created in polymer clay, acrylic, paper sculpture, collage and wood-burning. Taxpayers can go to kanecountytreasurer.org to view current tax information and print out duplicate bills. Also available on the website is a list of all unclaimed funds held by the treasurer's office. People can make payment by mailing the payment to the treasurer's office in the envelope provided, at a designated bank in Kane County, or in person from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the Treasurer David Rickert's office, 719 Batavia Ave., Geneva. There is also a payment drop box available 24 hours a day located behind Building A at the Government Center on Batavia Avenue.
