Big government equals big business

The Democrats in Washington seem to want to generate new laws and regulation with every situation that comes along. Do you realize some of these regulations have been lobbied for by big businesses?

This didn't make sense to me until I realized it's only "big business" that can absorb the cost of new laws and regulations. The cost of all this government regulation is all too often too expensive for "small business."

The current financial bill is no different. This tells me the congressperson who is in favor of more regulation is pro "big business" as well as "big government."

As far as I am concerned, when the Democrats say they are for the "little guy," it's a lie! It is really the Democrats who are in the pocket of "big business." More often than not, just enforcing the current laws would be sufficient. Why not try that first?
