Slaughter falls to Bloomington Extreme 33-30

The Chicago Slaughter (4-5)fell to Central North Division rival Bloomington Extreme (5-5) with a final score of 33-30 in a closely contested game Friday night at the US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.

QB Tavares Woodley made his first start of the season for the Slaughter going 28 for 39 for 242 yards and four touchdowns.

WR Shatone Powers led the team with seven catches for 76 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Defensively, LB Lenny Radtke had 12 tackles, including two tackles for a loss, while DB Sam Smith recovered an on-side kick and had an interception.
