Need stronger stance on abuse
Bishop Thomas Paprocki of the Springfield Diocese said earlier that child abuse lawsuits are cutting into charitable works. Catholic charities, senior living and hospitals (with psychotherapy and spirituality) relates to the senior Vatican, and "sickness" of all abusive priests. This isn't safe.
I realize the importance of child abuse law, and I also realize the importance of SNAP and the Catholic Church teaching children to be alert, not to be passive. Teach them to leave the room if propositioned, to hit if accosted and to yell for help. Law comes after abuse. Preventing stops abuse.
I have written that Pope Benedict XVI should not have complete immunity. Perpetrators of abuse should have justice.
