How the other side lives
What needs to be done is to not allow an educator who retires to be rehired by the district they previously worked for. Educators who retire should not receive their retirement salaries if they are hired by another school district. They shouldn't be allowed to draw their retirement until they reach age 65 like their counterpart who start receiving Social Security at an age established by the government.
It appears that those receiving these benefits fail to remember who actually is paying for their generous retirement - the opposite side of the coin: Those living on what they earned and contributed to their retirement while working for a company; those who had to plan for their retirement without support from other people and without guaranteed income from another source.
With the current economic, situation just maybe the people living off the backs of the taxpayers will begin to understand how the other side lives.
