D.A.R.E. Family Fishing Derby Saturday

The Bartlett Police Department will hos its annual D.A.R.E. Family Fishing Derby from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15. This fun-filled catch and release event will be held at Beaver Pond, located on Stearns Road just east of Illinois Route 59. Admission is free, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Members of the Bartlett High School Bass Fishing Club will assist participants as they compete for exciting prizes donated by Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, Bass Pro Shop, American Bass Anglers, Cabela's, DuPage Forest Preserve, and the Bartlett Park District Nature Center. Fishing bait will also be provided, but participants are required to bring their own fishing poles and tackle.
