Hilton announces opening

EVANSTON - Hilton Hotels has announced the opening of Hilton Orrington/Evanston, a Four Diamond hotel located at 1710 Orrington Avenue in Evanston.

Originally opened in 1923 and reopened in 2005 after a major renovation, this nine-story 269-room hotel now acquires the Hilton name and brand identity, the company said in a news release it issued Wednesday.
