Northwestern State, Mississippi Bulldogs to meet

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Northwestern Statey returns to the baseball diamond Wednesday with a 6:30 p.m. CDT game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The Demons are 3 1/2 games behind first place Texas State in the Southland Conference.

Northwestern State will play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this weekend before closing out the regular season at Southeastern Louisiana the following weekend in Hammond.

The Demons also have clinched a spot in the Southland tournament set for May 26-29 at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi.
