Read the law before you condemn it

We will never have a civil discourse about Arizona's new illegal immigration law as long as the demagoguery from out political leaders continues. Recently President Obama called the law "irresponsible" and then went on to say if you don't have your papers and you take your kid out for ice cream you're going to be harassed. That is worse than demagoguery. It is a lie. If people, including President Obama, would just take a few minutes to read the 16 page bill they will find that it does not condone, encourage or in any way support profiling or the "harassment" President Obama refers to. In fact it explicitly prohibits it. Give credit to Arizona for taking action to increase enforcement of Federal immigration laws that the Feds have failed to do.
