No one critically hurt in Hanover Park shooting

A shooting occurred Saturday night at a party in Hanover Park, Mayor Rodney Craig said Sunday.

Police would not confirm the shooting or provide any details. Craig said he didn't know many details about the shooting, except that it happened near Schick and County Farm roads and no one was killed.

"(The police) have the individual and lots of witnesses," Craig said. "Apparently, there was an argument and act of stupidity. Fortunately, no one was critically injured."

Hanover Park police are expected to provide details about the shooting Monday.
