Don't attack creation messenger
Joe Bauer has shown through his dogmatic reply to our April 20 letter that evolutionists, having no ammunition to attack the message (creation), will unleash their anger on the messenger (us).
Having earned degrees in science from IIT (1962 and 1964), we have kept up with both the creation and evolution models of origin theory for over half a century through journals and other media.
Perhaps Mr. Bauer should broaden his reading to include criticisms of evolutionary theory: the peppered moth fraud, Haeckel's embryos, lack of any transitional fossils, evidence of rapid sedimentary depositions (Mt. St. Helens), irreducible complexity, RATE studies (radioisotopes and the age of the earth - indicating the earth is only thousands not billions of years old), etc. I wish there was room to write on each of these topics.
Sadly, these must be searched out, as the popular media routinely censors any support for the creation model. The only reason many scientists show support for evolutionary theory is to retain their paycheck. Unfortunately, this censorship has been so thorough that some, like Mr. Stare (April 29), will accept evolution to some degree.
Evolution theory is not testable science. It does, however, contradict the first law of biology, "like begets like," (see Genesis) and requires faith in spontaneous generation which was long ago disproved. The only reason to believe in evolution is to support one's atheism. There are websites that will aid you in separating truth from speculation, e.g. www.AnswersinGenesis.org, www.icr.org. The first site will often debunk evolutionary "science" TV specials, usually by the morning after they are shown.
Yes, Mr. Bauer, I'd like to see your books that prove macroevolution. Billions of generations of fruit flies have yielded not one house fly or any other creature. Like begets like.
