Round Lake High School staging 'Into The Woods'

Round Lake High School students this weekend will present "Into The Woods," by Stephen Sondheim.

The musical tells the story of what happens when a young maiden named Cinderella; an abstracted boy named Jack; his mother; the giant he upsets; a childless baker and his wife, Rapunzel; a couple of princes; a witch; Little Red Riding Hood; and a wolf all find themselves in the woods, where they are forced to face their fears and learn a few lessons along the way.

The play will run at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, May 6-8, at the school, 800 High School Drive in Round Lake.

Tickets are available at the door. They are $8 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens and $2 for children 5 and under.
