Algonquin man in good condition after crash
An Algonquin man remained hospitalized, but in good condition, Monday after suffering injuries in a Saturday afternoon motorcycle crash in the 1100 block of Cary-Algonquin Road in Algonquin Township.
Steven B. Radak, of the 700 block of Harrison Street, was flown by helicopter from the crash scene to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville after he lost control of his motorcycle about 4:37 p.m. and slid more 100 yards before coming to a stop in a ditch.
Speed is believed to have played a role in the crash, said McHenry County Sheriff's police, which continues to investigate.
