Surveillance cameras capture Lincolnshire bank robbery

Lincolnshire police have released a photograph of the man wanted in connection with an armed robbery Saturday at Foster Bank, near Milwaukee Avenue and Aptakisic Road.

Police hope the picture, captured by bank surveillance cameras, will lead to the suspect's arrest.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Lincolnshire officers responded to an armed robbery by a man witnesses describe as a white male, heavier set, standing between 5-foot-9-inches and 5-foot-11 inches tall, in his mid-20s to early-30s.

The man was said to have a closely shaved head with a reddish-brown jaw-line beard. He was wearing a black "DC" skater's hat. The suspect implied he had a gun, but no gun was displayed, police said.

The suspect drove off in a white, late model Buick bearing an Illinois Temporary Plate containing possible partial numbers of 609 or 906. A dye pack was deployed after the suspect fled the bank, so it is possible that he may have red dyed hands or clothing.

Anyone with information should contact Investigator Adam Hyde or Cmdr. Greg Duffey at the Lincolnshire Police Department, (847) 883-9900.
