Calas furnishings design takes state honors

The Illinois Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association has named Marietta Calas of Long Grove the winner of the 2009 Best in Design Award.

The panel for the award selection process judged excellence in the overall execution of scale, proportion, functionality, lighting, balance, textures, furnishings and accessories in an interior design project.

The award winner is an interior designer with Expressive Interiors.
