Blizzard mobile on its way

HOFFMAN ESTATES - In celebration of the 25th birthday of Dairy Queen's Blizzard, the first-ever Blizzardmobile will visit the Hoffman Estates location during its tour of 25 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Shaped like an Oreo Blizzard, including the red spoon, the Blizzardmobile will provide free samples of the ice cream drink. The event takes place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 9, at the Dairy Queen at 1570 W. Algonquin Road.
