Catholic policies support environment

The Catholic environmental positions are misunderstood by many; they are as follows, from the Catechism of the Catholic Church: No. 2415,

• "The seventh commandment enjoins respect for the integrity of creation. Animal, plants and the environment is destined for the common good of the past, present and future humanity."

• "Man's domination is not absolute, it is limited by concern for the quality of life of his neighbor including generations to come, it requires a religious respect for the integrity of creation."

Vatican City is the only carbon neutral industrial country in world, the popes have achieved this by planting enough trees to offset the carbon footprint of the country.
