Abortion protester's success inspirational
I am writing in regard to the article, "Protest at clinic changes minds," in the April 3 news section of the Daily Herald.
I think it is amazing how the protesters outside the clinic were able to change the couple's minds about getting an abortion. Margo Cupps was able to change their minds through literature, which obviously was a life-changing experience for both her and the couple that left the clinic.
This article was very positive and shows that anyone can make a difference and change a life, even if it is unexpected.
Margo Cupps probably did not think that going to protest would result in her saving a life. As a "self-proclaimed sidewalk counselor," she truly changed the minds of the couple planning on getting an abortion. It was so nice to read about peaceful protesting that actually made a difference.
I hope this article will make more people become aware about standing up for what one believes in and what one can achieve by doing so.
