Three arrested in Naperville iPod theft

An 18-year-old Naperville man and two juveniles have been arrested in connection with the theft of an iPod, police said Monday.

Police said they responded at 12:09 p.m. Sunday to a report of a strong-armed robbery near the intersection of Forgue Drive and 93rd Street.

Police said it appears the suspects approached a juvenile who was walking down the sidewalk and grabbed and held the victim while Marquise D. Patton, 18, of 2858 Rutland Circle, searched the victim's pockets and stole the iPod.

Police said they found Patton and the two juveniles near the intersection of Cedar Glade and Idaho roads.

Patton was charged with theft and transported to the Will County jail. The juvenile suspects were taken to the River Valley Justice Center in Joliet.
