Celebrate Supportive Living Week with Heritage Woods
Heritage Woods of South Elgin, 700 N. McLean Blvd., will be observing and celebrating Supportive Living Week in Illinois during the week of April 26-30. For details, call (847) 531-8360.
On Monday, April 26, it will kick off with a balloon launch at 10 a.m.
On Wednesday, April 28, the community is invited to an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A puzzle-making event is planned, with hopes to put together the greatest number of puzzles within the community.
On Thursday, April 29, a special presentation on understanding blood pressure and reducing stroke risk is scheduled at 10 a.m. From 4 to 8 p.m., there will be a Stein Mart Spring Fling and Fundraiser at the St. Charles Stein Mart, 3619 E. Main St.
There will be food, fashion, discounts and music. A raffle will be held to raise funds for Senior Services Associates Inc., a nonprofit agency that serves more than 25,000 seniors, their families and caregivers annually.
On Friday, April 30, enjoy the musical stylings of Rudy Ollero at 2 p.m. All are invited.
