St. Charles police warn of burglaries
St. Charles police were warning citizens Friday about a spate of burglaries and other mischief reported recently on the city's northeast side.
In the last 10 days, police said, there were reports of two residential burglaries, one burglary attempt and criminal property damage in the areas of Persimmon Woods and the west end of the Fox Chase subdivision.
"Citizens living in the area are being asked to immediately call 911 and report any suspicious activity or persons," according to a news release.
