Leading the Mustangs offensively was Justina Doll, who went 3-for-5 with 3 doubles and an RBI. Hillary Bunnelle went 2-for-4, including a double and an RBI. Deanna Wise went 1-for-2 with 2 RBI.
Bunnelle pitched the complete game, allowing 6 hits. She had 9 strikeouts and 5 walks.
Mundelein improves its record to 6-7.
Wauconda 6, Woodstock 3: Kayla Stos pitched a 3-hitter, striking out seven and walking two to lead the Bulldogs to the nonconference victory.
Leading the Bulldogs offensively was Alex Konnemon, who went 2-for-4 with a 2-RBI triple. Kendra Wedl added a home run and a single.
Woodstock North 12, Grayslake Central 5: While Grayslake Central put the first run on the board in the second inning, it was Woodstock North that led the rest of the game.
The Thunder scored 8 runs in the third.
Claire Brennan and Jordyn Bowen both belted doubles for the Rams.
Cary-Grove 6, Lake Zurich 2: Three Bears - Erin Sweeney, Ella Aslan and Tabbetha Bohac - belted doubles.
Sweeney finished 2-for-4, and Aslan went 2-for-3.
