Arms treaty makes sense

I think that the latest arms limitation treaty is wonderful. No sane person would prefer to be superior in murder.

Just because someone has blown up the world doesn't give us the right to blow up the other half. We have been living under a lose-lose situation for far too long and as far as I am concerned there should be ZERO weapons of mass destruction.

We have lived under the threat of Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) since the 1950s and the days of duck and cover. It would be the end of life, all life, on this planet dealing with a nuclear winter.

We will always have our madmen like in North Korea and Iran, but conventional weapons can do the job without getting everybody to glow in the dark with radiation.
