Multi-vehicle crash on Reagan snarls Friday commute
A four-vehicle crash Friday in the eastbound lanes of the Ronald Reagan Tollway just west of the I-355 on-ramp snarled evening rush hour traffic.
Two women from one of the four vehicles involved in the crash were taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with minor injuries following the 4:30 p.m. crash, state police officials said.
The crash involved three passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer. State police officials said the crash began with one vehicle rear-ending another. The vehicle the injured women were in crashed into the center median, officials said.
No citations have been issued, police said. Crews were still clearing debris from the tollway at 5:30 p.m.
