Protest is fine, within reason

It appears that for some civil political discourse has become a thing of the past.

I don't know if it is simply my impression, I'm too sensitive about the issue or what, but more and more we get to read about protesters doing things that can only be considered totally inappropriate.

Protesters hurling racial, and other, epithets at U.S. Senators and Representatives. Protesters threatening to kill politicians. Protesters posting the addresses of politicians and their relatives. At the same time, the protesters who publish these addresses incite others to take action against these politicians. Protesters vandalizing the offices of politicians. Protesters threatening politicians at town hall meetings.

I am especially outraged at the leaders of all political parties and groups for not taking a much firmer stance against these actions. Do some think that uncontrolled rage and actions are appropriate? I lived through the '60s and got to see first hand what the actions of hatred could cause.

If you disagree with someone's political ideas, I truly support your right to protest. Should someone get hurt, or possibly get killed by someone who does not have their facilities, it is YOUR fault. Their blood is on your hands.
