'Christian' is wrong word for militia
The writers of the front page article "FBI busts Christian Militia" are propagating a long-standing media position of negating Christians every time they can.
In the first place nowhere in the charges filed is their religion specified or referred to. In the second place, What they are alleged to be plotting is against Biblical Christian principles: see Romans 2:13 & 13:1-7, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 2:13-17 and other instances of the proper Christian respect and obedience of legal authority.
If what is charged is true, there can be no reference to "Christian" in their name. The Christian response to problems in our system is though civilized debate and our right to vote. Any violent or unlawful acts are anti-American and anti-Christian.
These men should be thankful they are in America.
In some other countries they could have been arrested and never heard of again. Instead they will be tried in our system. They will be able to defend themselves from the charges against them. They will be treated justly, something they are alleged to be against. Also, we Christians have a loving, forgiving God.
If the alleged plotters repent their sins and live as they should, God will forgive them and we Christians should also. This doesn't mean that as Americans we can forgive them the just punishment they will receive if they are found guilty. Remember media writers, "Christian Militia" will observe the laws of the land and respect those dully appointed to enforce them.
