Elk Grove Village bank robbed
Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a bank Wednesday afternoon in Elk Grove Village.
Police called to Harris Bank, 1 S. Arlington Heights Road about 1:55 p.m. were told that a robbery had just occurred.
The man implied that he had a weapon and was given an undisclosed amount of money. The man then fled east on foot. No vehicle description was given.
The man is described as white in his mid 20s, about 6 feet, 1 inch tall with a medium build and light brown short, spiked hair. He was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
