Obama praised for nuke effort

President Obama is taking the initiative to make us safer by reducing the stockpiles of nuclear warheads and delivery systems. He is also trying to strengthen the safeguards for nuclear reactors, prevent terrorists from obtaining nuclear material and ratify/implement the 2005 Nuclear Terrorism Convention, criminalize possession of nuclear material and damaging facilities (that the GOP controlled Congress failed to ratify).

It seems to me that the Republicans and their right-wing supporters should be praising this effort instead of undermining it by calling it "weak." I didn't notice any effort by the previous administration to address these issues, yet they find time to be critical. It is another example of their hypocrisy and constant opposition to anything constructive the president attempts to accomplish.
