Why can't everyone have Medicare?

With the cost of health insurance rising at over 15 percent per year for most folks, assuming they don't have a medical condition that would exclude them, this will soon make health Insurance too costly for most folks, our municipalities and our states.

We simply cannot afford the present system. Meanwhile, our local Blue Cross executives received several million in bonuses. Is that right? My most recent college graduate is without health insurance - because he had a sports injury in college. Is that right in the good old USA?

Something is very wrong with this picture. The folks on Medicare say they love it; why can't every citizen have the choice to be in Medicare if they want it? That would be the best thing for our population, especially our kids. Thank God for Medicare.
