Community Church hosts prayer breakfast

In 2002, The Community Church of Rolling Meadows hosted our city's first Community Prayer Breakfast. The even has become an annual tradition.

As a result, our eighth Rolling Meadows Community Prayer Breakfast will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at The Community Church of Rolling Meadows, 2720 Kirchoff Road.

The purpose of this nondenominational Christian event is to gather together our elected officials and other community leaders to demonstrate support and encouragement. The program will include breakfast, music, prayer, and a meditation.

The keynote speaker this year is David Carwell from Mission Aviation Fellowship, which provides missionaries, medical staff and community development workers the means of ministering to the people of Haiti through light air transportation.

Tickets are available at Community Church or by calling (847) 255-5510. Tickets are $10 each. Because seating is limited, tickets must be purchased in advance by Monday, April 19, and will not be sold at the door.
