Lincolnshire-based Acco expands in Miss.

BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- Office products company Acco Brands Corp. is expanding its operations in Booneville, adding another 35-40 workers to one of its manufacturing plants.

The company said the expansion is expected to be finished by the end of June.

Lincolnshire.-based Acco produces brands such as Day-Timer, Swingline and Kensington to customers including Staples, Office Depot, OfficeMax, Wal-mart, Target and Costco.

In 2008, the company finished a $55 million renovation and expansion of its distribution center in Booneville, adding 330 workers, bringing employment at the time to more than 800 people.

The facility began operations in 1969. The 2008 project, which took about two years to complete, added three new buildings.

Acco is Prentiss County's largest employer.
