Dubious of Obama's intent on abortions

I would like to express my appreciation to you for publishing the insightful and educational column Ms. Parker wrote Wednesday, March 31, regarding abortion funding. This column brings to the forefront the devious ploys that the Obama administration will use to advance their agenda.

President Obama's executive order to prevent funding is a sham. As Parker states, the health care reform measure does an end run around the Hyde Amendment by directly appropriating billions of dollars into a new Community Health Center fund.

Seventy-two percent of Americans oppose public funding of abortion. How can the average person have any faith or trust in our government when our president uses chicanery and lies to fool the citizenry? Is it any wonder that people are fed up with this administration?

I urge everyone who is tired of these falsehoods and broken promises to write and call their representatives and voice their opposition to the language of this law as it pertains to abortion funding.
