Family grateful for health care reform
Our family is particularly grateful to all the members of Congress who voted for health care reform, but particularly to Bill Foster. With all the antagonism coming from the Republicans, it took courage to vote for this bill, knowing that such a courageous stand could be used against him come election time next fall. I can imagine the ads now, and I'm sure Representative Foster can, too. Still, he voted for us - the millions without insurance or inadequate insurance, those who have pre-existing conditions and cannot buy insurance or those who lose their jobs and their coverage.
Our country has taken a step into the 21st century, and we thank you, Representative Foster.
