Parade-goers can win prizes

People at the Tartan Day parade, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hoffman Estates, will get a chance at prizes, just for watching the parade.

The Parade Prize Patrol will distribute numbered cards to parade watchers. Bring them inside the Sears Centre Arena and check the prize board - cardholders can win tickets to Elton John or Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire stars), Chicago Slaughter Family Fun Packs, passes to CoCo Key Water Resort in Rockford, coupons to Buca di Beppo, discounts to the International Beer Festival, discounts for tickets to the Heartland International Tattoo and more.
