Orioles' Roberts strains stomach muscle
BALTIMORE -- Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts has left Baltimore's game against the Toronto Blue Jays with a strained abdominal muscle.
Roberts appeared to get hurt while stealing second base in the first inning Friday. He clutched his stomach after the slide, but stayed in the game and scored on a single by Miguel Tejada.
Julio Lugo replaced him at second base in the second inning.
Roberts missed time in spring training with a herniated disk. He has started all three of Baltimore's games this season.
