Elginbull; Doyaine Bedford, 17, of the 2800 block of Art Schultz Drive, Plainfield, was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana after police said they found the drugs in his car during a Wednesday evening traffic stop on Route 31, just north of Walnut Avenue. Police say the drugs weighed more than 40 grams. Bedford's bond was set Thursday morning at $20,000 and he is due in court April 15 at the Kane County Judicial Center.bull; James Darling, 50, who is homeless, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday after he was found drunk and passed out at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Douglas Avenue, reports said.bull; Someone stole a purse about 11:53 p.m. Wednesday from a 2001 Dodge Caravan parked in the 0-99 block of State Street, reports said.bull; A carton of Marlboro cigarettes and about $30 in loose change was stolen at about 3:45 a.m. Wednesday from a truck in the 1000 block of Inglewood Lane, reports said.bull; Joseph J. Johnson had to take a urine test at the Renz Addiction Center, 2 American Way, and authorities became suspicious after the sample was cold, reports said. Police believe Johnson borrowed a bag from a friend and filled it with someone else's urine, reports said.bull; Someone poured sugar into the gas tank of a 2001 Dodge Stratus in the 700 block of Wilder Street between 10 p.m. March 31 and 1 p.m. April 1, reports said. The victim reported the incident Wednesday, reports said.bull; A watchful resident helped thwart a residential burglary in the 400 block of DuPage Street at about 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, reports said. Police were called to the area and found a 50-inch television, a Nintendo Wii and other items outside the home that were later identified by the victim, reports said.
