VH sees the light against Antioch

Vernon Hills 10, Antioch 3: The North Suburban Prairie Division game was suspended due to darkness in the fifth inning.

Vernon Hills had 9 hits, including four for extra bases.

Chris Marras led the way, as he went 3 for 3 with a double, triple and walk. Zach Kisley (double) and Tyler Coppney (triple) also contributed extra-base hits. Ryan Lane did a great job pitching in relief of M.J. Crowley, allowing no runs on 2 hits over 3 1/3 innings.

Scott Kempel had a single, RBI and 2 runs scored for the Cougars. Ryan Knopoff singled and scored twice.
