Woodridge woman injured in Naperville crash
A Woodridge woman had to be extricated from her car Monday afternoon following a crash with another vehicle in Naperville.
Megan M. Webb, 22, of Woodridge, was taken to Edward Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Webb was driving a 2001 Toyota Celica GT north on Ogden Avenue approaching Aurora Avenue about 12:30 p.m. when she struck a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Drew L. Deppen, 26, of Skokie, police said in a news release. Deppen was on southbound Ogden preparing to make a left turn onto eastbound Aurora.
Both drivers told police the traffic signal was yellow when the crash occurred.
Naperville firefighters extricated Webb from her vehicle and transported her to Edward Hospital. Deppen complained of pain but refused to be taken to the hospital.
Police are reviewing red-light camera footage at the intersection as they continue to investigate the crash.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Officer Joe Matchett at (630) 420-8515.
