Wheeling man pleads guilty to cocaine charges
A 53-year-old Wheeling man who was accused to delivering cocaine to a confidential informant several times last year, pleaded guilty to the charges Tuesday in Rolling Meadows.
Maximo Noveron Garcia, of the 300 block of Seventh Street, was sentenced to five years in prison for delivery of a controlled substance. He received credit for 113 days already spent in Cook County Jail.
Authorities say Noveron Garcia received about $400 for delivering between 1.8 and 3.2 grams of cocaine three separate times between July and August 2009.
Acting on a search warrant, police also found cocaine at Noveron Garcia's home, prosecutors said.
