Hear Field Band in concert

The internationally acclaimed U.S. Army Field Band will continue its long history of free public performances at 7:30 p.m. April 13 at Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.

The concert is co-sponsored by the Daily Herald and District 214 Community Education. The Field Band has appeared in all 50 states and in more than 30 countries on four continents. Two of the Band's components, the 65-member Concert Band and 29-voice Soldiers' Chorus, will present a powerful program of marches, overtures, popular music, patriotic selections, instrumental and vocal solos.

Tickets are required to get in. To get them free, use the order form in the concert ad appearing in the Daily Herald several times a week and include a self-addressed stamped envelope. (847) 427-4540.
