Authorities ID 9-year-old killed by Disney bus

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Authorities in Florida have identified the 9-year-old boy who was killed in a collision with a Walt Disney World bus while riding his bike with a friend on the theme park's property.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Chase Brubaker of St. Petersburg died Thursday when his bicycle veered off the sidewalk where he was riding and struck the side of a passenger bus.

The child was then pulled under the right rear tire. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The bus was carrying 28 people, none of which was injured.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing.

The incident came during one of the busiest travel times at the area's theme parks, with many schools across the country out for spring break and Easter weekend approaching.
