Does the Left know why we're angry?

On Sept. 11, 2001, Islamic terrorists attacked our country and murdered almost 3,000 human beings. Our entire world was forever changed that day.

And what was the Left's response to that uncivilized act of terror? "Why do they hate us?" What did "we" do? What can "we" do to change? What are the "root causes" for their anger?"

The Left then goes to great lengths to assure us that these acts of terror are not representative of Islam as a whole. Fair enough. Since President Obama took office, millions of Americans have begun to wake up to his version of "hope and change." We now know exactly what he meant when he said he wanted to "fundamentally transform America." We've witnessed the relentless spending and his fervent march to control more of our lives. And to that we've said: Enough.

We've gone to Townhall meetings where we've expressed our concerns to our elected representatives. We've exercised our constitutional rights to protest peacefully. We've gone to Tea Parties to show our leaders how angry we are at a government that we pay for, but doesn't listen to us.

And what is the Left's response to these lawful displays of protest? We're ridiculed, laughed at, and made fun of on late night TV. We're demonized, disrespected and dismissed as "fringe wackos." The MSM goes to great lengths to find the one nut in the crowd who does or says something appalling and then defines the entire movement by this lone act.

The Left knows that there is anger out there, yet there is no attempt to understand it. No desire find out who we are, what we stand for, and why we're so concerned about the direction our country is headed. Understanding for terrorists, contempt for fellow Americans.

Why are we angry? You might start with that.
