Thanks for supporting health care reform
I would like to thank Congressman Bill Foster for his yes vote on health care reform. I know that it took courage. The big money and power of the health insurance industry was all on the other side.
The people who don't have health insurance do not have lobbyists; young people who graduated from college but can't find a job cannot give millions of dollars in campaign contributions; people with pre-existing conditions, such as Parkinson's disease, cannot pay for campaign ads.
Bill Foster stood up for all these people and all the working people who have insurance but are just one pink slip away from having no way to pay for medical treatment.
I'm proud to have voted for him.
