Elgin police reports
• Four shots were fired in the front of a home in the 500 block of Enterprise Street at about 9:47 p.m. Saturday, police reports said. No injuries or damage was reported and no immediate arrests were made, according to the report.
• Enrry M. Flores, 29, of the 800 block of Salem Lane, Carpentersville, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1001 N. Randall Road, and later charged with felony retail theft, said police reports. Flores is accused of stealing $210 worth of CDs, automotive items and other merchandise, reports said. He his bond was set at 10 percent of $2,000 and as of Sunday he was being held at the Kane County jail.
• Josue Martinez-Hernandez, 28, of the 300 block of Silver Street, Elgin, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. Saturday and later charged with criminal damage to property, police reports said. He is accuse of using a bottle to break a window in the 0-99 block of Grove Avenue and is due in court on April 14, according to reports.
• Someone broke the passenger side window on a 1997 Toyota Corolla in the 100 block of Randall Road at stole a GPS device, police reports said. The theft was reported at 1:29 p.m. Friday.
• Police reports said someone stole two five-gallon drums of paint from a store in the 900 block of Randall Road at about 2:33 p.m. Saturday.
