Darien murder suspects appear in court

The two men accused in the murder of three Darien family members were in court Monday.

The pair made separate and equally brief appearances in the same courtroom for status updates.

Johnny Borizov, 28, is accused of setting up the murder scheme that law enforcement officials believe was actually committed by 23-year-old Jacob Nodarse. Borizov and Nodarse are roommates.

Prosecutors believe Nodarse shot Jeff and Lori Kramer to death along with their 20-year-old son, Mike, on March 2. Authorities said Nodarse admitted to being the triggerman and implicated Borizov, who is the ex-boyfriend of the Kramer's daughter Angela and father of Angela's infant son.

In court Monday, Borizov received a new court date of April 2 for a scheduled preliminary hearing while Nodarse received an April 7 court date for a status hearing. Both men are being held at the DuPage County jail in Wheaton without bond.
