White Sox send Flowers, Torres to Charlotte

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Prior to today's game vs. the San Francisco Giants, the Chicago White Sox made the following seven roster moves:

• Optioned C Tyler Flowers and RHP Carlos Torres to Class AAA Charlotte;

• Reassigned RHP Ryan Braun, OF Jordan Danks, OF Josh Kroeger, INF Brent Morel and INF C.J. Retherford to minor-league camp.

With the moves, the White Sox have 32 players remaining in major-league camp: 16 pitchers, three catchers, eight infielders and five outfielders.
