Hear update on ECC's plans for construction at April open house

Elgin Community College will host a community open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 to provide updates on construction and renovation projects being funded by the passage of a $178 million bond referendum that voters approved in April 2009. The event, one of two held annually, is designed to keep community members informed about project progress and maintain open lines of communication with Community College District 509 residents. The open house will be held in the Fox Valley University and Business Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

Participants will learn about the progress of projects such as the Multipurpose Building, the Health Careers Center and the Academic Library and Learning Center. Photos and architectural renderings will be on display.
