Empty promises come back to haunt
When are we going to stop letting unions control who works and who does not because of their power?
They decide who our president will be. Every president elected has been backed by the unions. They watch teachers being laid off because they do not make concessions and our children's education suffer because so much is taken away. Their own members suffer because when they do not work they still have to pay union dues. They terrorize small businesses who refuse to join the union, many businesses started years ago without the sweat of unions.
Why haven't we cut back on the space program since we are so far in debt in this country? It seems to be a problem here getting jobs and people losing their homes every day. Our priority should be here first. Where we do live ... not in space.
Help finance this country first, then other countries. Another promise made, to bring jobs to the USA instead of outsourcing to foreign countries.
Why can unemployment demand back $8,000 that they overpaid due to their mistake. Are they exempt from their responsibilities for making errors? We certainly are not.
So many promises made and, none being kept. Illegals still coming in, nothing being done about it.
Government, get over Toyota, I own one and will continue to buy them. I wonder if they will put Ford through the grilling as they have put Toyota through now that there have been recalls for Ford, but then again the government does not own Toyota and they should not own GM, rather a conflict of interest.
President Obama, start following through with all your promises. Things are worse now than ever.
