O'Hare anti-noise group names director

A Naperville man, Brendan McLaughlin, has been appointed executive director of the O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission, the intergovernmental agency dedicated to reducing aircraft noise affecting towns near O'Hare International Airport.

McLaughlin spent 10 years working for Naperville where he served as business group leader for the transportation, engineering and development team and also was the city's liaison to the Naperville Development Partnership that oversaw the recruitment of several corporate headquarters along I-88.

Most recently he was administrator for the United City of Yorkville.
